“Right now, countless children in Tucson and Southern Arizona with neurological problems are not receiving many of the sub-specialty services they need, because we don’t have centers to provide this coordinated care,” says developmental and behavioral pediatrician, Sydney Rice, MD.  “The PANDA Children's Neurological Center will provide all of the specialty care services these children need in one location.”

The Center will be an outpatient facility staffed with:

  • neurologists
  • developmental pediatricians
  • psychologist
  • psychiatrist
  • neonatologists
  • epileptologists
  • speech, occupational and physical therapists
  • admin and support staff

“Children with neurological conditions have many complex issues, so it will be enormously beneficial to have all of the specialists in one outpatient location, working as a team to help these children,” says Dr. Rice. “This coordinated care will ease some of the burden these families carry, when trying to coordinate many different specialists to help their child.”

With your generous support, we can make the PANDA Children's Neurological Center a reality!
